Are you a Terp? Live in the Wash, DC area? Interesting in networking with fellow Terps and building your storytelling and public speaking skills? I am excited to be partnering with the Terrapin Professional Network (thank you Aubrey) and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce (thank you Josey, a big Terp alum) for our Storytelling for Leaders program.

There are still a few seats available, around 8 seats. The event is purposefully kept small so that alumni can meet and network and have time for lengthier conversations with fellow Terps.

Montgomery County Terrapin Professional Network Presents

Program Description

What if the right story inspired the right action from your team? What if the right story landed you that top recruit? What if the right story helped close that big opportunity? What difference could that “right story” mean to you? Through a lively and insightful program, Ira will challenge you to “think deliberately” about how you communicate your stories. Enjoy practical, hands-on exercises where you will learn how to turn your experiences into stories that engage, persuade, and inspire your stakeholders with an easy-to-use framework taught around the world.

Our Terrapin Professional Network series is an event designed to provide a setting for you to connect and foster relationships with like-minded, collaborative industry professionals in your area. Each program features a keynote speaker followed by industry networking and refreshments. Learn from peers in your industry in this exclusive, unique setting! BYO business cards-breakfast will be provided.

This workshop is perfect for those in senior leadership, as well as those who are technical-minded and in technology-focused businesses or industries. Space is limited to the first 45 registrants – if you’re interested in building relationships, having fun and learning something-reserve your spot today! We look forward to seeing you at the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce!
